Just when we were rejoicing the downfall of House of Dereon, Tacky Tina and Beyonce have decided to cross over into home decorating. The House of Dereon brand will soon be available in the form of home goods:

Beyoncé and Tina Knowles have set their sights on home. Their House of Deréon and Deréon brands begin showing to retailers later this month, with more than a dozen designs between them as well as sheet set and coverlet programs.

Arrow Home Fashions secured the license for the brands at the end of last year and worked quickly to turn out collections featuring European inspired prints and colors, bohemian patchwork pieces, metallic threads, shams with diamond quilt stitching and feminine dressmaking details.

Retail prices will range from $149.99 to $199.99 for House of Deréon and $49.99 to $99.99 for Deréon. Like the clothing line House of Dereon appeals to an older market while Dereon is geared towards the younger consumer. SMH when will it stop.

Beyonce Pulls Out Of Acting Gig

Beyonce may finally keep her word on taking a break. The signer recently pulled out of a role with front-man actor Russell Crowe in a remake of the classic film A Star Is Born:

Crowe, who tasted rock star success as the front-man of Thirty Odd Foot Of Grunts, admits he’s still interested in making the movie – but doesn’t think Beyonce is.

He tells news show Extra, “I think she’s pulled out of it. I’m still chatting about it. It’s one of those stories that’s been made a lot, but I think it’s still quite a big focus – you can see that in terms of the popularity of things like American Idol.”

Good choice B, cause we can't see you holding your own next to Russell Crowe in a film not to mention we're tired of seeing you play the same roles anyway.
