Life After Michael Jackson: 1 Year Later

It's hard to believe that Michael Jackson has been gone for almost one year but it was this time last year that his millions of fans got the shock of a lifetime when Jermaine Jackson announced that his brother had indeed passed. On today we pay homage to the King of Pop, his legacy and of course his music that touched the hearts of us all.







As always Michael's presence continues to live on through his music, fans and family that continue to celebrate him everyday.

Did Common and Serena Call it Quits

After Common appeared to numerous red carpet events and movie premieres without his "girlfriend" Serena rumors have started resurfacing that the two may have split. Of course their reps haven't made official statements and we don't expect them to. With Common and Serena having numerous projects we don't see their split being of much help.

Better to use it when they need some serious publicity. Good call, although we can tell the two aren't as into each other as once before. Awww... Well ladies at least Common is some available man-meat again

Celeb Spottings: Gabrielle Union, Keri Hilson and Kim K on the Scene

Gabrielle Union, Kim Kardashian and Keri Hilson were all spotted at the A|X And ELLE Present "Disco Glam" event in LA last night. We like all the ladies outfits and can't find one thing bad to say about them...


Well then again WTF does Gabrielle have tights on we are sure the weather in Cali wasn't tight appropriate yesterday.

From the looks of her gut Alicia Keys should be announcing her pregnanacy any day now. The obvious baby bump she's been sporting is getting harder and harder to cover up! She was just spotted performing at The O2 Arena last night in London.






According to rumors her and Swizzy will be eloping after her tour wraps up.Only people with images and reputations to uphold rush weddings when people are preggers.

Odd Couple: Kelly and Letoya Luckett Hug it Out

Both Kelly and Letoya were spotted at the E! Entertainment's 20th Birthday Celebration in West Hollywood. Hmmm... Looks like Letoya is a bit uncomfortable, but with Beyonce telling both these hoes to kick rocks it's about time they teamed up! We love Letoya's look:

Damn Whitley is This You Boo?

Friend to the site FreddyO spotted Jasmine Guy aka Whitley Gilbert at the Saks Fifth Fashion Show & Luncheon in Atlanta which was hosted by Victoria Rowell.


Her face is aging way faster than it's suppose to, she is only 47 looking more like 67. SMH

Is Regina King Trying Something New?

Actress Regina King was spotted sitting courtside at a 2010 NBA Playoff basketball game Monday night with a couple friends including this guy next to her who seems to be showing her a good time.

Ice Cube and his family also attended Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals between the Phoenix Suns and the Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center in LA.

Ludacris and his beautiful girlfriend Eudoxie were spotted at the World Music Awards in Monaco. These two make a really cute couple and we must admit...


They are really starting to grow on us.

Swizz Beatz Tells Mashonda to Sit Down... I Paid You

After reports of Swizz Beatz owing Mashonda over $300,000 for alimony payments and such Swizz responded saying the reports were inaccurate. According to Swizz he has paid Mashonda above and beyond what was advised by his legal counsel and provided more than enough for her to support herself and their son:

“I gave over what the judge was recommending to give. I gave her $700,000 up front, because I thought $200,000 wasn’t enough for what she wanted to do. I still get spit in my face for it,” he said. He suggested that the subsequent payments had been ready to go when he discovered “she’d been selling all my stuff out of my house.”
Clair said the only items his client sold were some remote-controlled vehicles the producer had left behind after movers took out his belongings.”

Both Mashonda and Swizz are due back to court next month. This is getting messier by the minute, we can't stand it!

Queen Latifah will Host BET Awards 2010 and Announces Its Line Up

The BET awards held a press conference today at the penthouse of 230 Fifth Avenue and in Drama form we were in the building to peep the scene. The nominations of course are filled with predictable picks but Stephen Hill promises there will be major surprises in the show including two new categories Best Film and Young Stars award and a fun filled night with Queen Latifah as the host. Performers will include Diddy and Dirty Money, Nicki Minaj, Trey Songz and more. Check out some of the line up below:

Mashonda Takes Swizzy to Court for Over 300 Stacks!

Just when y'all thought Mashonda gave up her fight with Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys she decided to take the high rode and get him in court:

Songbird Mashonda says ex-hubby Swizz Beatz is a deadbeat who owes her big money. Mashonda Dean, whose divorce from the hip-hop star was finalized two weeks ago, is reportedly targeting Swizz Beatz in Manhattan Supreme Court for missing $334,000 in alimony and child-support payments.

Hmmm... We wonder if the wedding will be put on hold? Just a question.

The Show Must Go On: J-Hud and Terrence Howard Still On to Play Mandelas

Jennifer Hudson and Terrence Howard will move forward in playing the role of Winnie and Nelson Mandela despite the legal threats of the real Winnie Mandela who is against it.

The producer of the biopic says he researched deeply before writing the screenplay and the film would be made without any influence from any of the living main characters. The $15 million film will begin shooting in Capetown later this month.

Stacey Dash, Cam'Ron and Allen Iverson were spotted at ATL hotspot Compound getting it in.

Diddy on Love: I’ve had a lot of Material Things, but I’ve Never Conquered Love"

In a recent interview with Parade Diddy went into detail about why he can't maintain a steady relationship:

“I’ve had a lot of success and I’ve had a lot of material things, but I’ve never conquered love. I’ve never just had that always successful relationship. That’s due to the fact of me working and not paying attention to the girl, or me also feeling that the girl doesn’t appreciate me. And then I get a girl that really knows how to love me and I’ll press the self-destruct button because it makes me feel uncomfortable that she’s loving me so much.”

“I just want to be happy. You know what I’m saying? I just want to be happy and I want to be able to make somebody else happy. I don’t think I need a ring or picket fence or whatever society’s definition of happiness is in a relationship. I just want to be happy in my heart.”

We can understand this theory Sean and we have often wondered why you've never been able to settle down with anyone seriously after Misa and J-Lo. Hmmm

Ciara and her Soft Porn have been Banned from BET

Ciara's video for "Ride" has been banned from BET:

Although fans were already skeptical about BET being the only network that had not premiered Ciara’s “Ride” video, it was not until last night that fans were TRULY enlightened. During Ciara’s Ustream chat, Ciara’s grandma, Grandma Gladys, let a “cat out of the bag”. Ironically, though many “non-family friendly” music videos have been shown on the channel in the past, “Ride” has not been accepted onto the network.

Wow now BET wants standards.
