Fine ol Idris Alba is really catering to his fans by offering them the chance to win a date with him! Here's the official rules that Idris posted on his myspace page:

Oi, Oi Fam!

They say that everyone has a film in 'em, so that'd naturally mean that everyone has a filmmaker in 'em too!! Now because you ALL are a right talented bunch, I thought it'd be a great idea to do a contest for everyone of my peoples to enter.

Heres the deal: I'm attending the BFM International Film Festival in London on the 11th September, where I will be presenting the main award. To attend with yours truly as my VIP guest, I want you to show me the filmmaker in YOU and make your very own home video telling me why you think you should come along with me! Simple!!

The theme of your video can be based on things you know about me or you can let your creativity run totally wild, but whatever you do, remember: the lucky winner will be the person with the most original video! Once you are done, upload the video to YouTube then send the link to my inbox on this page with the heading 'MY VIDEO ENTRY'.

Entries for this contest need to be no longer than 2mins long and in for 3rd SEPTEMBER and I'll choose the winner on 4th SEPTEMBER.

The lucky winner will...

* Attend the BFM International Film Awards with me as my VIP guest and if you are not based in the UK you will be flown out to London especially for the event with hotel accomodation for 2 days.

AND

* Have your video featured on the front of this Myspace page for a month!!
