The 2008 World Music Awards

Today's hottest music stars gathered in Monaco for the 2008 World Music Awards on Sunday. Beyoncé kicked things off by performing “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It).”
The night also featured appearances and performances by Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon, Alicia Keys, Solange, and Akon. Michelle Williams hosted with actor Jesse Metcalfe.

Wendys Show in Trouble! Charlemagne gets fired and MORE!

Well I hate to be the bearer of bad news but my all time fav Wendy Williams is having a bit of trouble keeping her highly syndicated show afloat at WBLS. Word on the street is her longtime co host Charlemagne has been fired along with head of production Trev Hollywood. I hear that the Fall cleaning has much to do with lower ratings which have caused budget cuts.

In my opinion I think it may be a cover up for the sexual harassment lawsuit problems stemming from former employee of the show Nicole Spence. WBLS has paid Nicole a large sum to drop the case and have decided to make changes to the show as a result! I also hear after Wendys contract is up in 09 her contract will be terminated.

Which I'm sure Wendy isn't too butt hurt about it seeing as her TV show has been picked up by FOX! Shout to all my super friends at the Wendy Williams Show Anthony, Lorraine, and crew;-) who will be working hard in July of 09 when Wendys show will return!

OK magazine dished out some details about the Hudson funeral service which took place in Chicago. Read below:

As Jennifer Hudson attempts to cope with the monstrous tragedy that recently befell her family, the Oscar-winner has been kept afloat by an outpouring of support from famous friends. On Monday afternoon on Chicago’s South Side, Beyoncé, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Fantasia, Missy Elliot, Patti LaBelle and Queen Latifah were among the 450 mourners packing the pews of the Apostolic Church of God for the memorial ceremony to celebrate the life — and mourn the loss of — Jennifer’s mother Darnell Donerson, her brother Jason, and her 7-year-old nephew, Julian King, who, according to a family friend, all looked “peaceful and well-rested” in their open caskets. Also on hand for the service was Chicago native Oprah Winfrey, who opened up her home to the grieving star. “
