Kimora and Russ have finally come to an agreement pertaining to child support supplements for thier two children Ming and Aoki Lee! According to sources Kimora will receive 40K per month to help support their children, read up on it:

Life in the fab lane just got a little more fab for Kimora Lee Simmons.

The 33-year-old ex-wife of Russell Simmons will receive $40,000 a month in child support from the hip-hop mogul, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge ruled Thursday.

Kimora, who stars in the reality show “Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane,” will have sole custody of their two daughters - 9-year-old Ming and 6-year-old Aoki.

She also will have final say on whether her daughters appear on her reality TV show. Her 51-year-old ex has visitation rights.

The couple’s divorce was finalized in January. She filed for divorce in March2008, citing irreconcilable differences.

A source tells Life & Style magazine, “Chris is already building his case. “He’s saying she threw a phone at him, then hit him in the head and basically just lost it. He’s saying she attacked him.” Darren Kavinoky, a criminal defense attorney in LA, said of Brown’s defense: “Unless there’s some indication that she was enraged to the point that she physically threatened him, I think he’d have a tough time with that defense. “If it goes to court, ultimately it would be up to a jury to decide.

Jennifer Hudson will return to her hometown of Chicago to sing on The Oprah Winfrey show Friday.

The Grammy and Oscar winner has performed at several high-profile events, including the Super Bowl and the Grammys, over the last month. But this marks the first time that Hudson will sing in Chicago, since her mother, brother and nephew were killed in October.

Hudson will reportedly sing “If This Isn’t Love” from her self-titled album.

The Grammy winner will kick off her first solo tour on April 2 in Philadelphia alongside R&B singer Robin Thicke.

According to sources Chris Brown is set to go to anger management to handle his abusive behavior! Read the details via the NY Daily News:

Chris Brown is taking anger-management classes.

The troubled R&B singer, who was arrested two weeks ago on suspicion of making criminal threats against girlfriend Rihanna, attended his first class in Glendale, Calif., on Monday afternoon.

According to a source, Brown opted for anger management at the behest of his spin doctor, Michael Sitrick. “Chris doesn’t actually have to go by law,” our insider tells us, “but he believes it will make him look better to the public, and he wants to try to get in a few classes before March 5,” his court date.

The Feb. 7 incident - in which Brown allegedly assaulted Rihanna and left her with cuts and bruises to her forehead, lips and cheeks - didn’t just stir up controversy. It tarnished Brown’s good-guy image so badly that several of his endorsement deals were suspended, including commercials for Wrigley’s gum and the Milk Mustache campaign. Brown’s songs have also been temporarily taken off the air at a handful of radio stations.

But from what I hear Chris isn't the only one who should be taking the classes and Rihanna should be coming along too... Hmmm interesting! This all just gets juicer by the minute!

New Push Movie Clip....

I went to support Tyler Perry's film over the weekend and I saw the trailer for the new movie PUSH: BASED ON THE NOVEL BY SAPPHIRE which is a story based on the 96 book by author Saphhire which describes the hardships in the life of a teen called Claireece Precious Jones who was abused by her mother, raped by her father, and changes her life around after entering an Alternative School program. The movie made its debut at the Sundance film festival and stars Monique, Paula Patton, Mariah Carey and a host of others! The trailer isn't out on the web yet but I was able to find this clip so enjoy!

What appears to be the real photo of Rihanna's after effects to her altercation with Chris Brown have surfaced via TMZ. No one knows exactly how the photo has been leaked but after looking at it I am truly saddened by what this young lady had to endure! According to legal sources Chris Brown may only face a misdemeanor if Rihanna's injuries don't include any skull fractures, broken bones, or concussions.

On an upbeat Rihanna turns 21 today and as she transitions into adulthood we can only hope that this phase in her life serves to give her a better understanding of life and ultimately help her in life as she touches the lives of others!

The LAPD has launched a full internal investigation to see exactly who leaked the photo of Rihanna which was taken during an investigation! Read below:

Following an entertainment website’s publishing last night of a closeup photograph of what appears to be Rihanna’s badly beaten face, the Los Angeles Police Department has launched an internal investigation into the source of the leak. “The photograph has the appearance of one taken during an official Domestic Violence investigation. The Los Angeles Police Department takes seriously its duty to maintain the confidentiality of victims of domestic violence,” the LAPD said via a statement released on Thursday.”The Department launched an immediate internal investigation and subsequently filed a personnel complaint. A violation of this type is considered serious misconduct, with penalties up to and including termination.”

First Lady Michelle Obama brings Black History to the White House

Michelle Obama hosted an event for three local schools in the White House to celebrate Black History. According to the details below the First Lady was elated to know that the children were aware that the White House was built by slaves:

Mrs. Obama seemed a bit surprised when the sixth- and seventh-graders from three local schools said yes, they knew slaves helped build the White House, that President Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation upstairs in a bedroom named for him, and that the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. and other civil rights leaders met in the building with Presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson to discuss the end of segregation.



“So you guys know your history. That’s a good thing,” she said. “That means your parents and teachers are doing their jobs.”

Mrs. Obama encouraged them to look beyond the names in the history books and to “think about the extraordinary people who live in your own world,” like parents, grandparents and teachers, “all those folks who play important roles in black history and American history every single day.”

Social Commentator Dr. Boyce Watkins Weighs in on the NY Post!

There have been so many of you all who have been truly offended by the NY Post's current caricature above! So much so that the comments and response to it on my site as well as others have been tremendous! I received something from my good friend Dr. Boyce Watkins who helps us to take the thought process of it all to another level! Read below and tell me your thoughts:

People have asked me what I would say if it turns out that the New York Post cartoonist had no ill intent and didn't intend to invoke any racism in his recent cartoon that appears to depict President Obama as a monkey. Here is what I would say:

1) The idea that he may have been referring to all of Congress as monkeys doesn't add up, because the police didn't shoot a PACK of monkeys, they only shot one. That leads us to think that this person is the "lead monkey", which would be President Obama.

2) Obama is the one most readily associated with the Stimulus Package, since he was the one who promised it, the one who signed it, and the one who celebrated passing it. Did they think we would believe the monkey to be Nancy Pelosi?

3) It is actually racial inequality that gives the artist the privilege of going through life without sufficient cultural competency to even realize that this cartoon might be offensive to Black people, who've been compared to monkeys for the past several hundred years. Additionally, it is also racial inequality that gives this cartoonist the social privilege to say "screw you" to the Black community when they express reasonable outrage over this insult. The New York Post has not apologized and they've only worked to discredit Rev. Sharpton. That's the "Archie Bunker - I ain't changin nothin" approach to racism.

Bottom line: Even if you don't intend to be offensive, any idiot in the newsroom should have been able to look at this cartoon to say "You know, someone might think that we are depicting an assassination of our president and comparing him to a monkey. Maybe we should clarify a bit." Had there been more Black faces in that newsroom (again, a product of historical racial inequality), someone would have caught this horrible mistake. If I draw something that is highly offensive to Jews, even if I made an honest mistake, I should be respectful enough to acknowledge my mistake and apologize. Part of racial healing is similar to a marriage: you respect your partner's feelings even if you don't understand them.

When it comes to intelligence, compassion, professionalism and cultural understanding, the New York Post gets a failing grade. This cartoon is a disgrace.

Tameka Foster Raymond was released Monday night from Sao Paulo’s Hospital Sirio Libanes, a source tells the Associated Press, where she was admitted after suffering complications from plastic surgery. Her husband was spotted boarding a plane to the U.S. Tuesday without his wife. Raymond is on the road to recovery from a heart attack she suffered during a lipsuction procedure and is currently taking…… antibiotics to fight a lung infection, according to Brazil’s Globo TV.

All jokes aside I hope she has a speedy recovery so she can get back to being Ushers third leg, can't keep him unattended for too long ;-)

The singer’s most treasured possessions are going under the hammer - in the hope of raising up to £2million for the cash-strapped King of Pop.

Items such as Jacko’s iconic glittery glove - unveiled in the 1983 video for his smash hit Billie Jean - famous stage costumes, flash pieces of jewellery, his luxurious tour bus and many of his paintings, sculptures, awards and arcade games are being auctioned off. The glove - completely covered in clear Swarovski crystals - is expected to fetch up to £10,000 alone.

Chris Brown Finally Speaks!

Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person. Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else. President Obama kicked off his first Valentine’s Day weekend in the White House by ordering a special cake for his wife Michelle. “Ten days before Valentine’s Day the first husband placed his order for the Triple Chocolate Enrobed Brownie Cake from Bake Me a Wish,” People reports.

The baking company also provides cakes for military service people overseas. The $40 dessert is described as a “moist & fudgy brownie cake… enrobed in rich chocolate, then…completely blanketed with a shower of dark chocolate shaves.” The Obama family is headed home to Chicago tonight, for their first trip home since taking office.

More Chris and Rihanna Bull....

New details are emerging about Chris and Rihanna's domestic dispute that happened during Grammy Night! According to what Rihanna has said in a police report Chris has been abusive before! Read below for the juice via hollyscoop:

According to Police reports, Rihanna claims that Chris has hit her in the past and she referred to it as an ongoing and escalating abusive relationship.

When Rihanna first spoke to LAPD she refused to tell them what started the argument that night. We’ve now learned that it was the result of another woman sending Chris a text message about meeting up later on in the night.

During the argument, according to the police report, she ordered him to drive her home and “faked a call” to someone, saying things like, “He’s dropping me off. Make sure the cops are there,” reports TMZ. This enraged Chris.

He then said something to the effect of “You are really fu**ed up now. I’m going to kill you.” That’s when Chris allegedly began his violent attack with his fists.

At some point during the attack Rihanna took the car keys out of the ignition and threw them outside. He reportedly went outside to look for them, and returned back to the car and allegedly choked her. That’s when she lost consciousness and a witness called 911.

Based on Rihanna’s statement and her injuries Chris will definitely face a felony domestic battery charge, but it’s unclear at this time whether or not that’s the only charge he’ll get because evidence that he made criminal threats against Rihanna is kind of thin.

Damn hate to say I told ya so but damn I TOLD YA'LL ASSES he had to have hit her before for it to escalate to this! I blame publicity for trying to make these kids seem perfect! SHIT happens! I'm also hearing Chris' music is being yanked from airwaves due to his recent legal issues! Damn just when we thought no one could f*ck up their career more than R.Kelly or Kobe Bryant, Chris comes along and does this :-(

Talk about counting your lucky stars, Tameeka Foster could have died as a result of her bootleg plastic surgery procedure in Brazil! Read this:

R&B singer Usher’s wife Tameka Foster was placed in a comatose state after suffering complications with a liposuction procedure, new reports have revealed. According to E!, Foster, who flew to Brazil for the procedure, was rushed to Sao Paulo’s Sirio-Libanes Hospital after going into cardiac and respiratory arrest.

Unresponsive according to G1, Foster was placed in an induced coma for 24 hours after complications with anesthesia. Dr. Payman Simoni, a renowned Beverly Hills plastic surgeon blames “general anesthesia” for Foster’s complications.

“While I have not treated Usher’s wife, in my opinion, the reported need for a neurosurgeon strongly suggests complications relating to general anesthesia, which can include stroke, hypoxic brain injury, and intracranial bleeding,” said Dr. Simoni.
