Solo Act and former Destiny's Child member Letoya Luckett performed at the UNCF's tribute to Patti Labelle which aired last night! She sung "Talk About Love" and wasn't half bad but she was also in the show with Fantasia and Jennifer Hudson, between those two I'm sure she got lost in the wind! But shout out to Letoya and her camp I dig her, but would like to see something from her what's up girl?

Making The Band 4: New Season, New Drama

Peep the trailer for the latest season of Making The Band 4. After the drama from last season, which displayed two members of Danity Kane getting booted from the group, not to mention Day 26's below mediocre success and Donnie's complete and utter tanking. This new season should ought to be interesting, if not for just the drama then at least for Diddy's comical catchphrases. The new 4th season will premiere February 12th on MTV.

Hmmm... Still questionable but a hell of a lot better than some BS we've heard in the past months.. Hope this is for real, maybe now with Diji's baby Kimora will drop that Simmons from her name! She's holding on to that name tighter than Tina to Turner!

I Will Survive....

A US Airways plane went down in the NY Hudson River yesterday! Luckily no one died as a result of the crash and each passenger including the crew made it to safety. The Huffington Post gives the details:

A US Airways flight crashed into the Hudson just after 3 pm. The FAA reports everyone, including one baby, is off safely. There are no life threatening injuries. There is a flight attendant with an arm fracture and a few cases of hypothermia.

Just after 3:30 pm Thursday live coverage began of the plane downed in the river, with people standing on the wings. Flight 1549, an A320, took off from Laguardia on it’s way to Charlotte at 3:26 pm. Read witness accounts here. The pilot reportedly flew over the George Washington Bridge at just 900 feet. It was in the air for about 7 minutes before hitting the river near the 50s, just off midtown.

Wow talk about things to be grateful for...

A source tells the newest issue of Us Weekly, on stands now, that singer Kelis, 29, and her husband, rapper Nas, 35, are expecting their first child together.

“It’s all they are talking about. She is carrying hip-hop royalty!” says the insider, who adds Kelis — currently in her first trimester — already has a little bump. “They are so excited.”

A rep for the singer had no comment.

Little bump my ass that could just be gas! I need to at least see a massive budge before I believe this foolery! And even if she is whose to say it Nas'? Wasn't she rumored to be dipping out on him like yesterday...

Real Housewives Reject Deshawn Talks about getting the Boot...

With the Real Housewives of Atlanta set to comeback for a second season, its going to be filled with more cat fights and drama than before! This time more so, because the network hasn't asked Deshawn Snow to come back for the second season! Instead I hear the network has been in talks with Tameeka Foster (No I will not tag Raymond on the end of that I'm still in denial over that marriage) to join the cast. In a recent interview with Essence Deshawn had this to say about the decision:

[One of the producers] called and said that I was “too human for a circus show” and that because the show did so well, they are about to pump up the drama and they didn’t think that I would fit in. He gave me an example, saying that during the reunion when I found out what a few of the other ladies said about me, they were expecting me to say more, but I’m not the type to go “television” and start acting crazy because somebody’s talking about me. I’m fine with the decision. It wasn’t my decision. They let me go and there are no hard feelings.

How happy am I to report that Wendy Williams TV show will be returning this summer in July! According to sources the show is definitely a go and will be available to 70% of the nation which includes all major networks! For those who don't remember I had the pleasure of meeting Wendy on the show and was just recently at her studio with Financial Guru Dr. Boyce Watkins who made an appearance on the show! Another Day Another Reality Show... Ray J Edition

Ray J has joined the reality show bandwagon with a new show titled For the Love of Ray J which will premiere on VH1 Feb 2nd. Upon researching this bull sh*t of programing I came to the conclusion that its simply an upgrade of Flavor of Love where Ray J replaces ghetto names such as Nipplez and Buckwild with finer, bigger words such as Caviar,Cashmere,Unique and others which actually cause for someone over at VH1 to pick up a dictionary! I hear the show is full of great moments and of course DRAMA! Ray J must be on some type of come up because I also hear him and Brandy are in the studio working on a collabo album titled R&B aww how cute!

J Hud will make Comeback at the Superbowl...

WTF J Hud? I would rather see her rip the stage at the Inauguration on next Tues but... Word on the street is J Hud will be performing at the Superbowl this year! Read the details below via OK Mag:

Jennifer Hudson will return to the stage next month for the first time since the tragic murders of her family members. E! Online’s Marc Malkin is reporting that Hudson will sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl on Feb. 1 in Tampa, Florida. “She certainly can nail it,” a source told Malkin. “She proved it at the Democratic National Convention.”

In any event glad to see J Hud gearing up to get back in the Spotlight... no pun intended!

DeShawn Gets The Boot From Housewives of ATL

In the latest "Real Housewives of Atlanta" scoop DeShawn Snow has been booted from the show and will not be returning next season. In fact, Bravo has been in talks with Tameka Foster, wife of R&B singer Usher, plus basketball player Julius “Dr. J” Ervings's wife, Dorys, and radio personality Frank Ski's wife, Tanya to join the cast. Sherre Whitfield, Kim Zolciak, Lisa Wu Hartell and Nene Leakes will return next season. Plus, Nene is already working on a spinoff series with Bravo.
In other related news Sheree Whitfield will not be debuting her fashion line at NYC's Fashion Week next month. Plus, she recently discussed the appeal to her divorce settlement with former New York Giant Bob Whitfield stating:
"I dropped the appeal because somebody wasn’t doing what they were suppose to do and pretty much squandered the money. People don’t know the story and I really haven’t spoken on it. You will read in the paper I haven’t received child-support in 15 months. It’s actually 17 months. Hopefully all will prevail and what’s done in the dark will come to the light. It’s officially over and it feels good to have it on paper and definitely gives you and lot of other people peace of mind."
