Jermaine Dupri had a little too much of a good time celebrating his 36th birthday. The other night, Dupri and his squeeze, Janet Jackson, went to Tenjune, where, spies say, they shared bottles of Jay-Z’s Ace of Spades Champagne and Patrón tequila with Ne-Yo, Busta Rhymes and Ice-T - until Dupri “vomited in Janet’s lap. Ms. Jackson bolted out of the scene and sped off in her chauffeured Maybach.” A rep for Jackson and Dupri didn’t return calls. A rep for Tenjune declined to comment. Meanwhile, we hear Dupri is under some stress at work. The head of urban music for Island/Def Jam put out his lady’s last album, “Discipline,” which flopped. Our insider said, “[IDJ head] L.A. Reid had wanted to make changes to the album, make it fresher with some newer artists added in, but Janet said no - and Jermaine backed her up. He looks silly right now.”

All looks good but with rumors of Dawn going solo and Aubrey and D.Woods getting the boot, it may be all for show! More...Baby Mama Drama... The TI Edition

I guess it's another day another dollar for rapper TI who has been ordered to pay his baby's mother more money in child support! We reported a couple days ago that TI's baby's mother Lashon Dixon was requesting more money from TI who she claimed only paid her $2,000 a month for their two sons! According to USA Today an ATL judge felt the same way peep below:

A judge on Tuesday ordered rapper T.I. to pay more child support to the mother of two of his children after she claimed he wasn’t providing enough money. Superior Court Judge Bensonetta Tipton Lane told the two-time Grammy winner, whose real name is Clifford Harris, to pay just over $3,000 a month to LaShon Dixon. He had been paying about $2,000 per month. The judge also said the 27-year-old performer must continue to pay for the boys to attend private school, uninsured medical bills and expenses related to the children’s extracurricular activities. Tipton Lane also awarded the couple on Tuesday joint custody of the boys, ages 7 and 8. Dixon, 28, was granted primary physical custody. The children previously spent about 40 percent of their time with the rapper.

Dixon’s attorney, Randy Kessler, said his client is still unsatisfied with the amount the judge ordered T.I. to pay but is happy to receive more child support. “Every little bit helps,” Kessler said. “She was just getting by with the children, while they lived a different life with their father. It can’t be complete opposites on the other side.”

Wow whatever happened to just raising kids with great morals and values, I guess now Mommies want matching bentlys and designer purses too! Ain't nothing wrong with that if you're getting it on your own but... that doesn't seem to be the case in this situation!

Artist Daniel Edwards has sculpted a a bare-shouldered bust of Michelle Obama that is entitled “Michelle Obama’s Makeover for America”, which will go on display at New York’s Leo Kesting Gallery at the start of October 2008. The sculpture has been the talk of controversy today. While art is in the eye of the beholder, I'm not too sure about this one! What are your thoughts?

If any of you haven't noticed Angela has lost a substantial amount of weight and we've all been wondering just how she did it! Well Life and Style talked to Angela and she gave them the scoop! Check it out:

When Life & Style caught up with Angela Simmons at the Sept. 10 Pamella Roland fashion show in NYC, the star of MTV’s Run’s House looked like she was missing something: about 15 pounds! Angela, 20, has been hitting the gym hard-core with big sis Vanessa, 25. “We’re definitely working out,” Angela tells Life & Style. “I haven’t missed more than three days in a row. When we’re home, I try to exercise every day.”

Rev. Run’s little girl is running around, all right — but not on the treadmill. Instead, Angela says, her new routine includes “lots of squats and lunges. And I cut out pizza completely.” She does confess to indulging in sweet potato fries, though: “I love those!”

Adds Angela, “I didn’t notice I was losing weight until my trainer told me I’d lost 15 pounds.” And that’s just the beginning. “Now I’m sculpting,” she says. “Soon I’ll have muscles!”

Looks like LL may not have the old touch like he used to. The rapper bitched about how Jessica Simpson's album beat out his in album sales! Read below via MSNBC.com:

LL Cool J and Jessica Simpson make unlikely competitors, but the rapper is said to be furious that Simpson’s album, “Do You Know” outsold his own the week both debuted. According to Nielsen Soundscan, Simpson’s first country album topped the country chart and came in No. 4 overall in the rankings by moving 65,000 units. LL’s “Exit 13” came in at No. 9 with sales of 44,000.

“LL is furious,” says a source close to his label, Def Jam. “He was so angry at one point that he was beaten by Jess that he actually threatened to quit rap.” As it turns out, LL was likely just having a moment. A rep for LL says that “he has no plans to quit now,” and the he’s focusing on celebrating his “sixth consecutive top 10 album in his nearly 25 amazing years in music.”

Poor thing! Maybe now that Def Jam is out the way he'll have better luck next time!

just woke up from a quick studio nap… I’ve been workin’ on 808s and Heartbreak about 16 hrs a day and Superman passed out for a little bit… I’m in hawaii but I’m still on NY time so I wake up mad early, do some business, blog, jog for an hour, play ball, eat and then hit the stu by noon. While approving the final cut for the Love Lockdown vid, I marvel at the fact that it was written less than 3 weeks ago. I’m very excited about the everything… I guarantee this will be 50’s favorite album of mine. This will be gangster’s album of the year.

If that wasn't enough for him the next day he was spotted poolside with his eyes on actress Ashley Scott who he got no burn from resulting him to hit up Lavo nightclub again where he was spotted with another unknown blonde! I'm all about supporting the rainbow coalition when it comes to getting your swerve on but... damn not one piece of chocolate Jamie what's up with that?

Irv Gotti Gets Renewed by VH1

Well it's about damn time! I love drama almost as much as I love my mama (if you catch me in between some juicy drama maybe more) and I'm so excited that Irv Gotti's reality show 'Gotti's Way' has been renewed for another season! The new season will pick up where the old show left off with Irv and his (estranged... just JK)wife Deb trying to work through their marital issues.

The show will also continue to follow Irv's journey to reclaim his empire Murder Inc and take over hip hop once again. While I'm not too interested in Irv trying to salvage a dream deferred I am more than ecstatic to see him and Deb try to work out their personal issues in the open! Hell I need something to draw me in! If your just as big a fan as I am check out the second season when it premieres on Nov.3rd!

The Search Continues... for Dame Dash's Son

Dame Dash's son has yet to be returned from a previous weekend visit with his son's mother! Read this via TMZ:

Damon Dash still hasn’t seen his son for weeks , even after a court said she must return the boy to him , and now a judge is going to haul the boy’s mama back in cuffs if that’s what it takes. The judge in the Dash custody battle finally lost her patience and issued a bench warrant yesterday. Linda Williams is still defying the judge’s order to return Damon II, whom she picked up weeks ago for a weekend visit and hasn’t returned. The whereabouts of the child are unknown.

This is serious stuff I hope Linda returns, their son safe and sound before things get really ugly!

Swizz Beatz says Fall BACK... Alicia is not to Blame!

Swizz Beatz released this statement to US Weekly about the current rumor that Alcia Keys caused his divorce from his wife:

“I can no longer ignore the harmful rumors, that my friend Alicia Keys is in any way linked to my marital circumstances or to the decision that [my wife] Mashonda and I have made to separate. I am disappointed that some have chosen to try and tarnish Alicia’s reputation by irresponsibly implicating her in a situation that she has absolutely nothing to do with,” Beatz, a father of two, says. “This experience has been one of the most difficult times in my life, and as was stated when we announced our separation several months ago, I ask that you continue to respect my privacy in dealing with this personal matter.”

Alicia must of ripped a new one in that ass! Ish is unacceptable! Not for nothing but I hear Mashonda was at the Baby Phat Fashion show and looked an emotional wreck! Too bad some of us carry it all in our face huh? Poor thing! Looked like a pretty happy home a couple months ago but... LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING!

The King is Back.....

Queen Latifah is in the works to release a new album! According to BallerStatus.com Latifah will be working with a host of great producers including Dr. Dre! Read below:

The new album, which Latifah told Rolling Stone was “banging,” was crafted with the help of legends LL Cool J and Dr. Dre. The rapper-turned-actress says the two did the majority of the record. “They pretty much did the whole album,” Latifah said. “My boy Kenny Flav did one track and I think might do two more. Missy [Elliott] and Swizz Beatz are the only two people I have left. But they’re mixing it right now.” Dre also helped her write some of the material, as well as Ludacris, but besides that she says she wrote “just about” all the rest.

On a sidenote I hear the album may serve as a coming out for Queen Latifah. Something that we all know she's struggled with for years!
